This new change to the market signaled a big change for Cessna, though, as they eventually deviated away from the 206 range despite the massive success of the Stationair 206H. The H brand, though, never arrived until the late 1990s as a new replacement for the aging yet still well-loved Cessna P206 and U206. The H brand was released far after the original 206 brand, which came around in the mid-1960s. The perennial workhorse, this made it incredibly easy for pilots to put in the hours when flying something like this - and the 206H was something that really popped up and shook the world. They were very popular bush planes for a while, too, as many people decided to turn to them for their rather utility style an also for the fact they can handle so much flight in a short space of time. The Cessna 206 family was, for a time, one of the most impressive aircraft on the market thanks to their rather robust size and their commanding nature compared to many other light aircraft.
